Online Lessons

As well as providing reading articles, we also offer English lessons, conducted online using a google document and video call. You can specify the style/focus of the lesson from the options below, or simply book a general lesson, we can then go from there.

To go ahead and book a lesson, use the 'Book Here' button at the bottom of this page to fill out a google form, I'll then email you with a link to schedule a lesson.

Fluency/Conversation

Here we can focus on improving your fluency and conversational skills. I will correct your grammar, as well as giving you new vocabulary and helping improve you natural expressions.

Writing/Proof-reading

Here you can present your written work and we can go through together to look at phrasing improvements, grammar checking, and so on. This might be educational writing, creative, business, emails and so on.

Interview/Presentation preparation

These lessons can help you practise an interview, or presentation. This may involve role-play or similar. After you have finished the presentation/interview, we can go through improvements and corrections.

Pricing/Payment

I offer my lessons on a donation basis. The idea here is that you receive the lesson firstly without upfront payment, after the lesson you can then donate according to the value you received, and according to your economic situation. This does not mean it should be treated any less seriously than if I were to charge qualified 'going-rates' ($20-$30). Please make sure you attend any lessons you book on time!

Following the lesson, you will receive a link where you may 'donate/pay' the amount that corresponds to how much value you received.

I use this system for three main reasons:

1) It ensures people pay for the value they receive.
2) It allows for the vastly different economic situations people may be in.
3) It helps promote a 'gift economy', it is my own small way of contributing to a fairer economic system.

If you have any questions regarding this, we can discuss before or during the lesson. For a more detailed explanation of this, please read this article.
